In celebration of Oktoberfest we’ve brewed up a very special beer to mark the occasion.
Altbier (meaning “Old Beer”) is a traditional German precursor to Lager, historically hailing from the city of Düsseldorf. Whilst it matures in tank for longer than most other ales, unlike a Lager, Altbier is top-fermented and has a richer, maltier profile with a darker colour to match.
