A few weeks ago, one delightlfully sunny September day, our team visited a hop farm down in Kent, helped out with the harvest and brought back with them a wealth of wonderfully fresh hops.
We've used these fresh hops to create an absolutely tremendous Green Hopped Harvest Pale on cask for this week.
It's a Pale Ale at heart, although slightly stronger than our flagship at 5.5% ABV, matching the intensity of the fresh hops to create a perfectly balanced and quaffably smooth beer.
Bittered with Admiral and Goldings and dry hopped with Bramling Cross, this Green Hopped Harvest Special is fruity, spicy, earthy, rich and warming, ideal as the sun shines down on colder afternoons and as the evenings draw in.
